Mrs. Patricia "Patsy" Hathcock

July 9, 1941 - February 3, 2022

Patricia “Patsy” Hathcock, age 80, a life-long resident of Summerdale, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Mrs. Hathcock was a life-long member of Summerdale United Methodist Church. She was very civic minded, serving on the Alumni Association Board, Summerdale Little League and served in all capacities in Summerdale School PTA - including president for many years and chaired Summerdale Bicentennial Celebration. She was preceded in death by her mother, Oscar Hazel Davison; father, Tom Camp; sister, Marcia Hobbs, brother, Mikie Davison; grandmother, Ella Allen Waters and several special aunts and uncles. Mrs. Hathcock is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Hathcock; daughter, Lisa A. Thompson (Larry); son, Faron Hathcock (Terri); daughter, Mona Hollis (Philip); grandsons, Dustin Thompson (Laura), David Hathcock, Joseph Hathcock (Sarah) and Sammy Hollis; granddaughter, Hannah Hollis; great grandchildren, Morgan Light and Hayden Brook; sisters-in-law, Pat Davison and Sheila Nobles and several 'sister-cousins', numerous special nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Summerdale United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery in Robertsdale, Alabama. Rev. Judd Coggin and Rev. Jim Batchelor will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summerdale United Methodist Church.
