Mr. Julius Allen Hand

Julius Allen Hand "Pops" born May 4, 1943, of Summerdale passed on March 2, 2022 at the age of 78. Pops was a very loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He spent most of his life as a welder and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed reading, stitching, and doing woodwork of all sorts. He is survived by his siblings, Robert Hand and Dorothy Love; loving friend, Eloise Hand; children, Matthew Allen Hand and wife, Lisa Hand, Barbara Allen Stokley and husband, Rodney Stokley;. grandchildren, Traci Davis, Rodney Stokley Jr, Tabatha Stokley, Joshua Tharp, Kimberlie Stokley, Jules Hand, and Claudia Hand. He had five great grandchildren and a number of friends and other relatives. In addition he was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Hand; father, Cyril Hand; stepfather, Tony Hutnik, and brother, Cyril Hand "Buddy". Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday March 7, 2022 at Pine Rest Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at Cracker Barrel in Foley after the services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
