Mr. John E. "Jack" Dillard

John “Jack” E. Dillard November 13, 1937 – February 17, 2022 Jack Dillard, 84, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2022 surrounded by his family at his residence in Fairhope, Alabama. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM and services will begin at 2:00 PM at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale, Alabama. Graveside services will immediately follow at Silverhill Cemetery. Jack was born on November 13, 1937, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to Frank E. and Alice Dillard. He grew up and graduated high school from Monongahela Pennsylvania. Although Jack spent many years working across the country, he considered Fairhope, Alabama his home. Jack married Cora Jean Dillard (Dalton) on June 29, 1984. He is preceded in death by both parents, one sister Connie Dillard, and one son, Frank Dillard. Jack is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cora Jean Dillard (Dalton); one son, Stanley Dillard of Fairhope; two daughters, Alice Tessmann (Paul) of Nashville, Tennessee and Jackie Buckley of Gulf Shores, Alabama; two step-daughters, Susan Smith (Butch) and Brenda Browning (Terry) both of Silverhill, Alabama; one step-son, Walter Yohn (Cortney) of Robertsdale, Alabama; one brother, Robert “Bob” Zacary of Manderville, Louisiana; and Kathy Nix (Tony) of Panama City Beach who he considered family. Jack was blessed to have thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many other loved ones. Pallbearers will be Eliott Stanton, Preston Harlow, Jeff Smith, Chase Simpson, Jon Austin Stroud, and Dalton Ingram.
