Mr. James "Scooter" Boling
December 30, 1955 - February 23, 2021
James "Scooter" Boling was born at Bryan Air Force Base in Bryan, Texas, grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from Hinds Junior College. He was an avid music lover, playing bass guitar in school and local bands for years. He owned Boling Auto Parts, then worked for Montgomery Ace Hardware in Jackson until moving to Orange Beach to be closer to family. Scooter worked as a maintenance technician for Kaiser (Wyndam) until starting his own pool maintenance business, Scooter Pools. He is survived by his daughters, Monica McKenzie (W.E. "Chip") of Daphne, Ashleigh (Steven) Mooney of Summerdale, parents Bill and Ann Boling of Gulf Shores, two brothers, William "Skip" Boling of Catskill, NY, Scott Boling of Brandon, MS and five grandchildren. Mack Funeral Home of Robertsdale is handling arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at Orange Beach United Methodist Church, Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Orange Beach UMC or a favorite charity.
