Mr. Charles Larry Jordan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Charles Larry Jordan, 75, resident of Foley, AL, passed on November 17th, 2020 in Mobile, AL. He was the husband of Sonnia Ann Jordan (Lewis). They shared 34 years together. Born on February 2nd, 1945 in Birmingham, AL, he was the son of Clyde Richard Jordan & Ruth Mae McCulley. After High School, he joined the Navy and became an Aircraft Mechanic. After the Navy he continued as an Aircraft Mechanic for LSI. He served in the Vietnam War and an honorable twenty years before retiring. He settled down in Foley, AL where he and Sonnia continued to raise their youngest daughter Crystal and two of their grandchildren, Raine & Aiden, years after that. Being closer to family in Foley, he prepared many meals and celebrated many holidays with the family. He was known to be strong, helpful, accountable and he was great with children. Larry was the second oldest of his siblings Clyde Roy Jordan, Sandra Gale Jordan, Cora Debra Jordan, and Stephen Michael Jordan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and spending time with family. In his younger years, he was fascinated by boxing, race cars and anything you could do in the water. Larry is survived by his wife Sonnia-68, his children (a. Lisa Monique Jordan-54, b. Michael Bartholomew Jordan-52, c. Shannon Angelique Jordan-48, d. Crystal Snow Jordan-40), his grandchildren (a. Nicole Louise Jordan/Tammy Lynn Franklin/Mathew Charles Jordan/Cassandra Elizabeth Jordan, b. Zach Jordan/Jonathan Jordan, c. Justice Rascom/Hannah Rascom, d. Raine Jordan/Aiden Beasley), his 6 great grandchildren and his dog Bama. He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Clyde & Ruth, his siblings, Roy, Sandra, and Debra, one great grandson, and his dogs, Jake, Bell, & Max. The Memorial Service will be held on November 28th, 2020 at 11:30 at 33181 County Rd 112 Arlie Minchew Rd, Robertsdale, AL 36567.
