May 8, 1938 - July 7, 2021
Amado Balli passed away from natural causes on July 7, 2021. Amado was born in San Benito, TX on May 8, 1938. He spent a long part of his life here in Mobile and Baldwin County. He lived a long and great life. He worked hard and did his job the best to his abilities. No matter what the job is, do your best at it. He taught us that if you want materialistic things in life, and you don’t have the money to buy them, then work hard and earn it. Nothing is given to you. He loved America and served our great nation honorably in the United States Marine Corp. making him a lifetime member of an unbreakable brotherhood of military brothers and sisters. He leaves behind his loving wife Margaret, his sister Irma Balli, his daughter Belinda Mach, his sons, James “Jr.” Balli, Alberto Balli, Anthony Balli, Adam Balli, Stepson Tony Bailey, step daughters Tina Bailey, Sarah Bergevin, Nora Gore, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Amado was a strong believer of living everyday to the fullest. He believed in family bonds, honor, respect, manners, and the power of our loving God. You could always find him saying a simple prayer or blessing the smallest of food before he ate it. He would always end any conversation he was having with “Have a blessed day” to everyone he talked to, from someone he knows to complete strangers. He loved joking and making people smile and laugh. He was always brightening and making someone’s day better with the simplest of gestures. If you ever talked to him, then you know he left a lasting impression on you. He will be loved and missed, and will forever live in our hearts and memories. Semper Fi Devil Dog. Fair Winds and Following Seas. 'Til Valhalla. Semper Fortis. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home with a visitation prior to the service from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m.
